Do you listen to your body and know when to slow down at night?
Listening to your body and knowing when to slow down or take a break can be paying attention to those little signals your body sends you- even when you still have a lot left to do.
Maybe it's that slight tension in your shoulders, the fatigue that lingers a bit too long, or even just the feeling that you need a moment of quiet. You may be a bit short tempered or your mood just feels off.
As busy women, it’s too easy to push through these signs, and keep doing more but your emotional and physical energy depends on whether you take care of yourself. Whether you get the kind of sleep you need.
We are living through times where we have to have a marathon mindset. And marathons are won slow, but steady. So when you need to rest and disconnect. Listen to your body and so just that.
When you feel the need to slow down, but still have more to do or feel like you can’t…
Remember that you can’t help or be there for anyone until you help yourself. It’s giving yourself the ability to pour from your overflow, not a place of feeling depleted.
Remember, perfection is impossible, but progress is made piece by PEACE. Progress is always within reach. Let go of the pressure to finish everything in one day. Keep the faith. Be courageous. Do what’s right by people. Good will ALWAYS prevail… despite the circumstances.
