God Grows You in the Quiet Seasons
2 Corinthians 9:10 says:
“He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”
Resilience is your strength to bounce back from setbacks.
But, being resilient doesn’t always look like hustle or constant motion.
Sometimes, it’s choosing rest instead of rushing. Resilience is as simple as chillin at home, resting, and letting your mind breathe from all the chaos.
As busy adults, one powerful way to become more resilient is through self-care—taking time to unwind and fill your own cup again- both men and women.
Finding the sunshine in the small things.
Putting boundaries between your work life and your personal time—your "homebody hours" is one way you can look at it.
The moments where you shut the world completely out, take a warm shower with a good smelling soap, put on your comfy clothes, and let peace find you again.
Know your limits.
Set them and respect them.
It's okay not to say yes sometimes. Ask for help when you need it.
And when life feels heavy, make space for quiet—those slow, still moments where your mind can reset. A warm shower or bath is a perfect and simple way to start.
Every time you allow yourself time to pause, to breathe, to rest, or simply just be, you’re strengthening your resilience.
Even when you can’t see the harvest yet, trust that even on the quiet nights in, in every small act of self-love, and every time you choose rest over rushing—that too is a planted seed.
God is STILL supplying what you need, even in your slow, HomeBody season. πΎπ€
Always remember... You've Got This... We've Got This! Have a blessed week
