I release my fixation on hurdles and challenges, knowing that I am on a unique journey through mommy-hood that is going to be filled with ups and downs. Seasons that feel hard and seasons that feel not as hard. I am not striving to be the perfect mom, I am striving to be the emotionally and mentally PRESENT mom... when it really matters. I will always remember, the days may feel long... but the years are so short. So I cherish the moments and give myself grace.

Let’s be honest, if anyone ever said that "mommying" was easy, let's just say they were not being completely honest with you. lol 😂 However, that doesn't mean you can’t be the best mom YOU can be… not comparing your own journey to anyone else. But, in order to be the best mom that does mean that you have to pour into yourself by doing things that make you happy, make you feel valued, do things that make you remember who you are outside of being a mommy.
Think of yourself as a plant. A plant doesn’t start out as a plant. It starts as a seed. As this seed is nurtured, cared for, watered, and nourished, it will begin to grow and produce more seeds that have the potential and ability to produce even more seeds because the original seed was adequately nurtured and cared for. So, I want to give you 3 ideas of some things to do for your mommy self care. Before you say, I don’t have time… remember, you have to make the time for you and make yourself a priority in addition to your other responsibilities. However, these are things that you can do when you're short on time, but they have long rewards for you.

#3 Write a 2 minute journal or not to yourself about what makes you beautiful inside
